chrisgoesrock asked: Hi again. Do you have any links for some free retro themes? //ChrisGoesRock

I wish I did but no. What I did for my Tumblr was pick out a theme with a general layout that I liked and made sense to me in its coding. Then, either on my own or with some help using search engines and Tumblr’s custom themes help page, I used my mediocre knowledge of HTML and CSS to change my chosen theme to what I wanted (plus I made the banner myself by altering the waitress from a photo by Pete Zarria and the Creepy Nash Guy from Plan 59). You can see how different the original theme is from my alterations if you click the Comic 5 theme credit at the bottom of any page on my blog and then look at it in Preview. Perhaps that will give you an idea of how much you can change in certain Themes so you can find one that you can make as groovy as you want. I can only imagine how cool what you have in mind is considering the great material you are posting!

If you are not well-versed on HTML or how Tumblr Themes are put together, feel free to send me an e-mail and I’ll be glad to give you plenty of specific help. My address is listed on the Are You Unknown? page. I’ve known about you for a few years from another blog and would be glad to help you out in order to give back a little for the many things I have gotten from you in the past. ;-)
